Region : UnitedKingdom

Model : TL-R480T+

Hardware Version : V5

Firmware Version :

ISP : BT Business

The setup:

2 x Billion 5200 RC

1 x TPLink 480T+

2 x 3Com 48 port switches

Approx 200 clients.

The network is heavily used between 1800 and 0100.

Over the last 2 weeks I've noticed the router freezing. It's still allocating IP addresses but not allowing access to the internet or the web management page. I've also tried connecting via TELNET.

Is there another way to connect to the router to force a reboot?

The network hardware is contained in another part of the building. There is no access to this after 1700 therefore, remote access is essential to the operation of the network.

if the router dead , i think no way to access and reboot it.
maybe the traffic too heavy,, can you sperate the traffic of clients with another router? then check whether the problem will disappear..

If the local network still work, you can try to build a arduino with ethernet or any other equivalent board to act as a power switch to reboot the system.
