Failed to upgrade the firmware on TL-SG2008P v1.0 switch

Model: SG2008P
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20200608 Rel.76470

Trying to upgrade the firmware for my TL-SG2008P switch from omada and getting:

[Failed]Main Administrator Ab3T4 failed to upgrade #14_TL-SG2008P manually.

I downloaded the TL-SG2008Pv1_en_1.0.2_[20210806-rel55686]_up.bin that I have found on https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-sg2008p/#Firmware and from the switch config >> manage device >> browse : select the downloaded firmware and click the upgrade button.

I have upgraded the oc200 firmware in a similar way without any issue.

The How to upgrade a  TP-Link Switch.pdf suggest to connect directly to the switch and then access the switch managing page, but if the switch is managed by omada, I could not access the switch "This switch is being managed by Omada Controller.", right?

Does anybody else have the same issue?

@Ionut21

The solution is that you need to upgrade first to TL-SG2008P(UN)_V1_ 20210407 (ver.1.0.1) and only after to TL-SG2008P(UN)_V1_1.0.2_20210806 (ver.1.0.2)
