Configuring a TP SG3428X switch
I have a TP-SG3428X Managed Switch
I have presently have two vlans on this switch
vlan1 is the system lan.
Port 1 is connected to a router for internet access
The router address is 10.118.118.91/24
The VLAN 1 address is 10,118,118,6/24
In the GUI -> L2 Features -> VLAN -> 802.1 Q Vlan -> VLAN Config VLAN ID 1 shows 1/0/1-28 as being members.
In the GUI -> L2 Features -> VLAN -> 802.1 Q Vlan -> VLAN Config VLAN ID 5 shows 1/0/23-24 as being members.
In the GUI -> L2 Features -> VLAN -> 802.1 Q Vlan -> Port Config shows everything except ports 23 and 24 as PVID 1
In the GUI -> L2 Features -> VLAN -> 802.1 Q Vlan -> Port Config shows ports 23 and 24 as PVID 5
In the GUI -> L3 Features -> IP Routing Table, I created a static route of 0.0.0.0/0 10.118.118.91 1 hop
It shows an Interface Name of VLAN1
With the system as it is, all of the devices on VLAN 1 can talk to each other and can access the internet.
All of the devices on VLAN 5 can tak to each other but cannot access the internet.
What I want to do is have ports 17 and 18 on their own VLAN.
ports 19, 20, 21 and 22 on their own VLAN.
ports 23 and 24 on their on VLAN.
Everything else can be on another VLAN.
None of the devices should be able to talk to each other.
All of the devices do need access to the internet.
I have been at this for nearly a week, having had problems reseting the switch, searching the internet, reading the documentation file for this device, trying different things, resetting the switch and starting over, and using some inappropriate language.
Please help me out with this problems
