Model: EAP225-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.0.7

I upgraded the firmware to 5.0.7 and I could not ADOTP anymore to the OC300 Controller (Controller Version: 5.0.29 Firmware: 1.7.0 Build 20211215 Rel.61008)
I tried to factory reset the EAP-225 and did not help. So I select "FORGET" device to see if it would re-discover, but this made it worst because now it cannot discover the device or the device cannot discover the controller.

Is there a way to un-forget the device or any advice to get this working again.

Thanks

@CoolNet

How is your topology? OC300 and EAP225-outdoor are in the same subnet or L3?

If L3, you can log in in the resetted EAP and configure the inform URL with PUBLIC IP/URL of your OC300 in order to discover againg the controller.

@CoolNet

Try to check the release notes if are useful:

With this firmware, port 29814 instead of ports 29811/29812/29813 is used when EAP is managed by Omada SDN Controller v5

It means that if you not are in the same network/subnet, you have to open the new TCP port 29814 to discover and adopt again with this new fw.

Best Regards

Thanks, I missed that. I did open the the new port in my firewall. However, I reset the EAP-225 to factory settings but still not showing up in the "Devices" list. I did select "FORGET" prior. Is this something else I need to do in the controller to bring that device back ? meaning un-forget. Thanks
