Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20210723 Rel.64359

Hello,

I'm new to TP-Link Omada products but after start and first config I have a problem with connect to internet via PPPoE. I get PADI timeout when i configure OC WAN to PPPoE with correct login, MTU and VLAN information.

My topology is ISP VDSL modem/router in bridge mode, SW Omada controller, ER7206 router, switches and AP. Devices behind router working correctly. ISP connection is without problems. When i use opnSense FW, Ubiquiti UDM or Mikrotik router to connect via PPPoE, they working without any problems and connect to internet immediately.

When I reconfigure PPPoE to Static IP router have connect to internet, but i have man in the middle, which is not desirable for me.

Is there any solution for my problem?

Thanks a lot.

Hello. I have some troubles with DSL modem as well. It helped me to remove VLAN in the PPPoE settings. With different modem, I have to use VLAN so try some different settings. MTU could also makes troubles.

You shouldn't have to use provider's dns if you don't want to. You can specify your own public dns servers if that's what you want.
