Model: EAP245
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I'm thinking of replacing 3x EAP245 and an outdoor point to the Wifi6 version : EAP610

Are the base plates different? So i would need a new fixing?

Also i'm curious about a couple of things

Is the EAP610 compatible fully with the OC200 controller

Also, the cabling is connected at 1Gbps, is there any issues with throlling at the Wifi6 is capable of faster speeds

Thanks

@bp1000 Hello,

1. The size is different and the base should be different, so you should have to re-punch the holes.
2. EAP610 is compatible with V4 or above controller.
3. No need to replace your cable, because the actual wireless rate will not exceed 1G (about half of the theoretical value)
