I recently tried to change out an EAP235-Wall for for and EAP615-Wall and found that one of my devices with is an Orbit B_Hyve hub for my irrigation systems would no longer connect to the network.  This Orbit hub only operates on the 2.4Ghz band.

I also attempted to use an EAP660HD and have the same issue with this Orbit hub failing to connect.

My network also includes an OC200 controller and a TL-R605 Router.

I’ve tried the following with no success:

A new Orbit B-Hyve hub.

Moving the Orbit hub to different locations to change the distance from the EAPs

Changing channels on the EAP615 and 660HHD

Changing power settings on the EAP615 and 660HD

Changing channel width on the EAP615 and 660HD

I have verified that the firmware on all devices is up to date

If I reconnect the original EAP235 the Orbit connects fine as long as the EAP615 and 660HD units are off.

Has anyone experienced anything similar and does anyone have any ideas as to why there is this compatibility issue.

I am hoping for a solution allowing me to use the EAP615 or 660HD rather than go back to the older EAP235.
