Model: OC200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: V5.0.30

Question:

How do you do url/web filtering and bandwidth control on an ip range?

For example:

Guest: 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.10

Staff: 192.168.0.11 to 192.168.0.20

Management: 192.168.0.21 to 192.168.0.30

Requirements:

DHCP auto assign ip should only range from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.10

While the rest are manually assigned via fixed ip assignment outside of that dhcp range.

Url and bandwidth control is set for the staff only (in this case, staff devices via lan).

Please note that in standalone r605 router, i can get everything to work. But if integrated with Omada, i am facing some issues doing this. Thanks in advance.

All devices are updated to latest firmware as of date.

System:

R605

Dumb Switches

EAP225

OC200

@Berzelius

In my opinion, there is no way to divide the same segment on the controller, you can set up VLAN interfaces and then you can use this function based on different segments, but of course you also need to set up the corresponding VLAN on the switch connected to the back of the router.
