I read you should not do it because it takes up too much memory, why have the feature if TP Link advises against it?

Does this feature enabled slow the network, kind of confused

If enabled can you clear it??

I think  a useful feature but warnings prevent me from trying it.

Where do yo read that? I think log cannot take up too much space while there are purely text based.

It won't slow down the network. It is the Controller and it maintains your basic network functions. Just rest assured.

You can delete the log if you think they're no longer valid or useful.

When you click enable client history controller settings

"The historical data of the clients occupy much storage space. For the limited storage space of your Hardware Controller, we recommend that you disable this feature on the Hardware Controller."

  @Penn50

I saw that warning too, but I've set my OC-200 to keep 30 days of logs and it has no issues with that setting.  In fact, I've considered keeping 60 days as it appears that it should be fine with that setting too because the internal memory of the OC200 is showing 1.89 GB free of 3.00 GB when set to keep 30 days of logs.  I just haven't done it yet.
