ER605 doesn't like Starlink's DHCP.
HW: ER605 VR:1.6
Firmware: ER605(UN)_V1.6_1.2.0 Build 20220114
I have a dish connected directly into my ER605 router on WAN via Tycon injector. I'm able to connect to the dish but I'm not able to get any internet connection. It keeps connecting to 192.168.100.1 but then fails and disconnects. The wan port is configured to get a dynamic IP. Static IP does the same behavior by connecting but not providing an internet connection. since I have a static route setup: the app stats says its offline and booting. I done this type of setup in a desperate attempt to get SOME sort of wired connection to the dish while waiting for the injector from Starlink. I know this setup can work, since on a rare attempt, the dish does give my router a Proper IP. Some say it needs to dump that address until it get one from the terminal. great! but how can I do that with a TP-Omada environment? Do you have some experimental firmware I can test with option 121 DHCP or a way to dump a bad DHCP? People From open WRT found a way to handle the problem or noticed its not much of a problem.
I would Post examples of what people are saying on reddit.... but new account to this forum...
