I do not suggest you run full auto on EAP or any devices. I am not saying that Omada is not reliable. Everyone makes mistakes. Even Apple can have bugs on every upgrade of their system. 

Just don't let the device upgrade when there is a firmware release. For the best, you'd better check out the forum or look up the version before you upgrade them. 

As far as I know, EAP225 is stable with the recent firmware upgrades.

Regarding the EAP is off from the DHCP list, I think there is no such thing about power saving. There is a power saving for WiFi clients. But the AP actually never goes into a power saving mode. 

  @John1234 Thanks for yoru reply,  I was thinking that would be best anyway with this number of APs,   I not that familiar with this kit but with stock shortages everywhere buying large numbers of APs if proving fun :)

500 WLAN is plenty I'll only ever need a max of around 150,  it seems the best way to set AP's up for each VLAN unless I've missed something with the controller. 

Odd with the DHCP thing then,   it seems to just not to show on the DHCP list but then appears when you start using the AP,  it is getting the IP from the UDM but just not showing it all the time.  Not seen this behavior before but wil test further when I have the netgate firewall configured that's being used with this install.
