Im planning to buy the TL-SG2210MP to use it as a managed poe switch. i need the PoE part of the switch which does not included in

TL-SG3210 Managed. I know that the TL-SG2210MP is a smart switch but can it work with a controller and apply a Port Profile for VLAN?

Thanks!

  @Jeesoon1 it is a managed switch.  I have the 2210 (non-MP) and you can use it standalone or with the controller...

  @Fleegle61

I did try the controller emulator, maybe the emulator does not work.

  @Jeesoon1  TL-SG2210MP is SDN compatible, so yes the controller can manage it like other switch including VLAN/POE.

I don't have TL-SG2210MP but I have a TL-SG2210P, that works well with the controller. I believe 2210MP is the same thing just with higher POE capacity.

  @Somnus Agree.  I also have the TL-SG2210P, which works well with the OC200 controller.

(1) TL-R605 v1.0 Router/Gateway (1) OC200 v1.0 Controller (1) TL-SG2210P v3.20 POE Switch (2) TL-SG2218 v1.0 POE Switch (3) EAP245 v3.0 Access Point (1) EAP225-Outdoor v1.0 Access Point
