Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have my router adapted to my controller.  I can manage some settings directly through the controller.  However, it seems that there are some settings which can only be accessed through the web gui of the router.  Problem is, once the router is managed by a controller, we can no longer access the web gui of the router.  We get the following error:

"Server Error:403 Forbidden.

Permission Denied: Omada Controller Software is running. Web Server is forbidden.

This Gateway is being managed by Omada Controller. If you want to manage the Gateway in standalone mode, forget the Gateway from the Omada Controller or reset it."

What I want to do is setup port forwarding on my router.  This required going into the Virtual Severs option under the "Transmission" menu option.  These settings are not exposed via the controller.

Is there really no way to manage the router in full while it is connected to the controller?

If I forget the device, it will reset it and I'll likely have to re enter all my router settings again.

What am I missing, if anything?

You're right, you can not login the router's standalone page once it is managed by controller.

But you can set the port forwarding on the controller, too.

Go to Settings----Transmission---NAT----Port Forwarding.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
