Hello,

I did not find security options in the OC300 controller for SNMP V3 under [Services] > [SNMP]:

  • AuthPriv
  • Group Name

It looks like those options are missing.

I would like to know if such options could be added? Thank you.

I did paste the original post and the link to that post below.

Kind regards, Bouke

Hello,

I did notice I can set a username and a password for SNMP V3 under [Services] > [SNMP]. I can't specify/tick security as the option isn't there. I can't find where to set further details like privacy password.

I couldn't find an option to set the Group Name.

I am able to get information from the adopted devices using the username and password and the IPv4 of the device with a Python script using pysnmp. But I don't understand where to set a Group Name and how to use data encryption (AuthPriv). Does the OC300 lack this funcitonallity and is only able to query without data encryption (AuthNoPriv vs AuthPriv)?

Thanks.

Bouke
