I have a network video recorder that is generating a lot of traffic on port 23, 80, and 8854.  In my attempts to shutting down these ports, it appeared to work initially, but found out later that night that it shutdown traffic across various other devices.  When I setup the first ACL, I used the MAC address of the device to be sure the ACL focused on one device only..

What are my steps to apply a switch acl to stop this device from broadcasting data.

I have custom port I configured (not listed) on the NVR that allows me to access the system on my phones and tablets, which works fine.
