Hi All,

I currently have a TL-SG1210P network switch, haven't had it for long but I am thinking of adding some additional devices and I either need to buy a new bigger switch or connect two together.

Can two TL-SG1210P be connected together and how?  I am been trying to search how this is done.  I suspect it could be from the 2nd uplink port to the new switch but which port should I use on the new switch and will I need a crossover cable?

OR

Would it be better to just plug both switches into my router rather than trying to daisy chain the switches?

I am a novice with switches and trying to find some accurate info somewhere.
