Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.21.7 Build 20221206 Rel.58608

I've connected a TL-SG2008P v3.0 switch to another switch.

In client view on the OC Web-interface, only some IP-addresses of wired clients are shown.

None of these clients are connected directly to the new switch.

Is there a reason, that only IP-addresses of some clients could be determined?

Thank you so much for taking the time to report the issue to our community!

1. What are the specific devices which shows no IP address on the controller? What is the model number? Are they all IoT devices?
2. Are these devices still connected and active on the internet?

3. Can this be resolved by refreshing the web page or rebooting the device or controller?

  @Hank21

All devices are connected to the internet and they're mixed devices.

For example 2 raspbery pi, an LG Tv, another switch, to VM's located on a hyper-V and so on.

All devices have fixed IP addresses assigned by dhcp reservation from a windows 2016 Windows server.

Strange thing is, that some IP-addresses are shown, and some are not.

It can not be fixed by refreshing the webpage.

May I know if all affected clients are wired? Or wireless clients have this issue either?

Please check if all affected clients don't connect to Omada switch directly.

If so, it is caused by client-side reporting mechanism.

  @Hank21

as you can see in se screenshot I've provided it only affeects wire clients.

None of the clients are directly connected to the new mentioned switch.

I can not imagine that it is caused by cliend side reporting, because as you can see, even another TP-Link switch "Switch-Wohnzimmer" is not reporting it IP.

The setup is the following.

basement: T2600G-28TS

connected to the basement switch are some of the wired devices.

also connected to the basement switch is a switch TL-SG108E

To this device "TL-SG108E"  e.g. "1&1-Stick-Wohnzimmer" is connected, which IP-Address is determined, but the IP of the switch itself is not shown, even if it is a TP-Link device?

Also connected to the basement switch "T2600G-28TS" is the new switch "TL-SG2008P v3.0" which has none direct connected clients at the moment.

It only shows all recognized wired clients over the network, but some with IP and some without IP and I don't understand why. Especially, why he is not even showing an IP from anpther TP-Link deivce.

Very strange.
