Model: VIGI NVR1008H
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 220823 Rel.48229n

Hello all, I have a Tp-link Vigi NVR 1008H

The network has been configured and the NVR has Internet access however it is unable to connect to the cloud services.

I can not access the NVR Remotely via the app. Any attempts to connect it or rebind it with the QR code just returns a device offline error.

The NVR was online for a short period after setting it up for the first time however this issue came up after updating the firmware to the current version.

--------------------

Pinging/Tracert Google.com works which to me indicates that the device is online.

--------------------

Rapid Diagnostics is green on Gateway Connection and Extranet Connection, red on Cloud Services.

UPDATE :

Reverted to firmware 1.0.1 Build211019 Rel.64100n

Cloud service connected and everything working fine.

Suspect it is an issue with the latest firmware.

  @Shoaibsic

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I just got back to the office.

I downgraded by downloading the firmware from the TP-Link website (I believe the particular firmware I am using is no longer available since it is very obsolete)
https://www.tp-link.com/my/support/download/vigi-nvr1008h/

Loaded it onto a USB Flash drive and plugged it into the NVR to manually update via USB drive.

It was pretty straightforward and no error came up.

Hope this helps.
