Hi,

I'm using the Omada line (EAPs, switches and controller) for almost a year now.

They usually perform very well, but they are still lacking some important features that are supposedly available since the latest couple of releases of the controller, but actually don't work yet because they need updated firmware in the EAPs and switches that is not available several months after the controller releases.

For example, the "Lock to AP" feature that seems very useful does not work with the current firmware releases of the EAPs and switches.

And there are many new functionallities in the same situation, not working yet waiting for new pieces of firmware to be released.

When will the new firmware be available?

One week and not even an answer from the support team?

How can we use features that are NOT AVAILABLE FOR ANY actual Omada hardware?

It seems that the new features listed on the Release Notes of the latest versions of the Omada Controller software are just marketing promises.

We're sorry we don't have further insights into when the firmware will be released for Omada devices, there are many models and versions of Omada devices and each software release is rigorously tested before it is released, the final test results will affect the final release of the software, so the device software release may not be as fast as the controller.

We hope that you will be able to use the new firmware as soon as possible, but this will take some time and the device firmware will eventually be released one after another, so please be patient.
