Hi

I have a EAP120.  It does not come up in the search.  I'm trying to configure it to extend my existing wifi signal to the "dead" areas in my house.  I realise it is an older model but I am assured it should do the job.  I'm not too tech savvy so would prefer easy to understand instructions

Reset the AP to its factory defaults and use method 1 from this video tutorial for configuring the AP. Use method 2 from the tutorial if you still can't see the AP's SSID.

"RESET: With the device powered on, press and hold the RESET button for about 8 seconds until the LED flashes red, then release the button. The device will restore to factory default settings."

  @terziyski

Do I set the SSID to my existing SSID from my router?

Should my devices automaticaly switch between them?

Thanks

You can set APs SSID either the same or different from your router's SSID - it's your choice.

Roaming smoothness between them will depend on the devices you use in your network.
