EAP225: High CPU-load
Since last night I notice very poor connection quality in my OMADA network. Frequent interruptions, poor performance etc.
Two EAP653 APs are working properly, but two EAP225-outdoor are working under very high CPU load which is remarkable:
My OMADA-Setup:
2 EAP225 outdoor, connected via LAN and PoE
2 EAP653 connected via LAN and PoE
TL-SG108PE switch (non OMADA)
ER605 router
Software-Controller running on Synology NAS in a Docker-Container
I made several restarts of all components, this has no sustainable effect. It is remarkable that both EAP225 APs show the same behaviour.
Any ideas what I can do?

In the meantime, I was able to fix the problem because of your posting. Thank you.
There are two EAP225-Outdoor with the same behavior.
There are clients that do not move (tv, desktops computers, ATV, smart home devices..) and clients that log on to different access points as they move around the house and property (mobile phones, mower, car etc.). On average, about 5 to 10 devices per access point.
I carried out the following actions:
- I switched the AP off an on again (unplug PoE-cable). A restart via OMADA controller did not have any effect.
- I have permanently assigned the stationary clients (which usually do not move) to one matching AP so that they do not move uncontrollably between APs.
- After restart of the whole OMADA-system, it seems to work properly.

Could you please check whether there is a loop in your network? We highly suspect this issue is caused by the loop based on our experience.
May I know how many clients connecting to the EAP225-Outdoor in total?
