DNS Proxy not working with IPv6
I want/need to use the DNS proxy feature, it's one of the reasons I purchased the ER707 router.
Unfortunately, as soon as I enable IPv6, the DNS proxy stops working.
I'm using DNS over HTTPS to NextDNS. Works great when I disconnect Ipv6.
Stops working when I connect IPv6 again (and then it falls back to my ISP dns servers again).

Figured out (part of) the solution... Turns out by default the Omada router's DHCPv6 hands out the ISP DNS servers to clients so effectively bypassing the DNS proxy. For the IPV4 DHCP it assigns itself as the DNS server to clients. I now changed it and entered the router's (local) IPv6 address manually as DNS server and that seems to work

I don't think it supports DNS Proxy with IPv6, and I thought the client would get the DNS IP from the ISP directly, isn\t it?

Hmm that would be a dissapointment and for me a reason to actually return the router. To me this feels more like a bug but if its really not even implemented in IPv6 that would be a shame
