VMWare Uplinks
Hello,
I have problem with connecting ESXi Host with 2 NICs on TL-SG3452XP.
On switch is 2 ports tagged 2 VLANs configured. On ESXi one vSwitch with both NICs and IP Hash configured.
I have 2 port groups one VLAN4 (for VMs) and VLAN50 for management. This working only with one cable.
I configured static LAG with hash algorithm SRC IP+DST IP
It working with one cable but not with 2.

Any topology available? Do you mean the LAG settings can work properly when only one cable is connected between tplink switch and vswitch but won't work when there's more cable?

@KimcheeGUN : Sorry for delay. I use VMWare ESXI Free 8.0. Intel Ethernet Controller 10G X550

Could you please tell me what exactly do you mean by not working with 2 cables? Is it the uplink speed of ports still remains the same as original or just dropped?

Wait... so from my understanding IF you want LAG ports, You will need VMware Server to enable that feature on your ESXI host.
You will need to full enterprise ESXI License and not the free License.

@KimcheeGUN Right. I deactivated again LAG group on switch. Now working all with Routing with Port ID. Server restarted. Very strange .
