Hi,

I am looking to prioritize the VOIP  traffic through my ER605.

In the menu option Transmission |  QOS there is a tab for VOIP proritisaion which has a check mark to enable and then asks for the "SIP UDP port"

Neither the on-page Help nor the Manual is clear as to what is required in this text box!

Is it asking for the IP Port, ie 5060 or 5061 etc, used by the SIP protocol OR is it asking for the physical LAN port into which the VOIP traffic is entering the router?

My Gigaset N300 device is the only device plugged into LAN port 5 on the ER605.

The configuration of the N300 requires a range of Ports for SIP (5060 - 5076) but the input does not allow a range to be entered.

Any information or suggestions?

Thanks

  @mhoam

Yes, it's asking for the sip port that the SIP device / SIP server is actively using.

Our PBX uses, 5060 locally and in/out of the wan port.
