Ik had made a port schedule to disable PoE on all the switches to turn of the access points at night. That workt fine for a week. But last night the server which hosts the Omada Controller software reset itself. The Omada controller software didn't start and all our schools had no wifi. I had to restart the Omada software and inspect every switch to see if PoE is on to get the wifi up and running. Only two switches had PoE turned off?!?) It was a bad morning i can tell you :)

Ok, i can make the Omada software start automaticly when the server starts, but i am now thinking about when the Omada software won't start again or the server gets corrupt at night. Then i have a huge problem to get the wifi running again. And the schools need wifi for sure.

So for now i disabled the PoE schedule. Does anyone knows a fail safe solution for this? Can i duplicate the Omada controller so there is another server when one fails?
