Help Needed: Setting Up TP-Link EAP-610 as a Repeater with Subnetwork
Hello everyone,
I recently purchased the TP-Link EAP-610 router and updated it to the latest firmware version 1.1.3. I've successfully set it up as a repeater to extend the Wi-Fi range from my parent's house, where the main router is located with the IP address 192.168.0.1. We're sharing the Wi-Fi network, but I'm facing a challenge in setting up a subnetwork with the TP-Link EAP-610.
Previously, I used a Comfast EW74, and with its repeater function, I was able to create a subnetwork with the IP range 192.168.2.X. However, I'm struggling to find the same functionality on the TP-Link EAP-610.
Is there a way to configure the TP-Link EAP-610 as a repeater while assigning it a different subnet, such as 192.168.2.X? I want to maintain a separate network for my devices in the back garden.
I've checked the router's settings, but it seems different from what I was used to with the Comfast EW74. Any guidance or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
