i am struggling to get the camera to connect with Home assistant or to third party NVR:

at url :    rtsp://admin:password@192.168.1.XXX:554/stream1      my vlc software opens the stream and i can see the video from camera in live view.

but any other attempt to use the same url or just ip:port only with Nvr or home assistant keep failing.
Is there some sort of block from tp link to connect with third party recorder and softwares ?

can anybody help

  @Paffo

I got mine the work with ONVIF but it caused big timing issues. I believe the ONVIF Home Assistant works in UTC and when connected to the vigi cameras they get lost and it resets the device time constantly. So I removed the ONVIF intregration.

Try - https://github.com/AlexxIT/WebRTC

That then feeds my cameras on my dashboard and with sound. I want to get Smart events but haven't looked into it that much yet.
