I have a TL-SG3428XMP switch and an EAP650 outdoor access point. To prevent someone from simply unplugging the access point and connecting a notebook to the LAN port, I would like to enable 802.1x on this port. I have not found a way to configure this in the web interface of the access point.

This function should definitely be added to all access points, as this is the only way to ensure secure operation.

  @Argetlam

At present, EAP does not support such feature, so there are no related settings to the web interface. We will help you provide feedback to the relevant department.

Seems important to secure any outdoor accessible LAN port, especially as an Outdoor EAP could get IP on the hardware network/default network, defeating security and ACLs.
