 @MR.S You are right.

I picked up a Raspi 3b and installed Raspibian bookworm on it. Then docker and portainer and tried to deploy the docker container omada-controller from mbentley.

It freezes my Raspi and won't work.

So now I have to decide if I order a Raspi 4b or switch my APs to Ubiquiti.

Yes, I said that you should use raspberry pi4 or 5 with minimum 2gb ram, raspberry pi3 has too little memory, as for ubiquti, I reckon it's unifi you're thinking of. it won't solve your problem, it requires about the same controller hardware as omada. I also didn't think the access points for unfi were as fast as TP-Link, the advantage of unifi is that they only have one version and they are updated.
