Hello everyone

My issue with using DHCP reservation list to fix the IP doesn't function as I had hoped.

as shown in the attached photo. My network's SG3210 is functioning as a DHCP server, and I've configured every vlan and IP range to the SG3210 vlan interface. Everything was going OK until I noticed something wasn't quite right.

The IP resolved on the DHCP reservation was out of range for the POE switch. It also doesn't work when I try to activate the DHCP L2 Relay on the LAN->Network.

I searched on the forum and also googling, but I couldn't find anything similar to the problem. I would appreciate some guidance from someone.

Thank you.

Zool

I got the answer after trying for a few moments. Why?

It looks like the OC200 controller's DHCP function works only with a router, so it's related to the DHCP reservation list as well. It seems like the L3 function capability of the TP-Link L2++ switch is useless on the Omada controller, It's so be a pity.

It would be awesome if the OC200 controller could have a selectable menu or something like that for the DHCP server function between the router and switch.

And I sincerely hope the TP-Link developers will take note of the feedback and include it in the list of new features for upcoming firmware.

Sincerely,

Zool
