It would be great as an extra ftp option if:

You could specify a filename for ftp upload such as "latestimage.jpg" and this replaces the existing picture on the server. A setting could be added to capture and perform the upload every XX minutes.

This will enable the latest image to be displayed on a web page easily rather than having multiple folders and files building on the server. It is a feature that seems to have dropped off alot of new cameras and I've seen various people asking about specific cameras that still offer this option.
