Model: EAP110-Outdoor
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Trying to connect the EAP110 outdoor to the existing serial back link deco mesh indoors which works perfectly well. It's on Starlink

have the Deco app and the Tether app

Tther app doesn't recognise the device despite numerous attempts and won't join the standard extender network . Tried resetting 20+ times . Nada

Any advice ?

I want it to behave as an access point and not an extender hence the very long Ethernet cable connectivity into the Deco mesh

EAP110-Outdoor cannot mesh with anything. you also cannot mesh Omada devices with Deco, they are two different systems that cannot talk to each other.

If you are going to mesh between Omada devices, a 5Ghz band is required.
