Model: EAP772
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.14 Build 20240801 Rel. 78844

All of my EAPs (so far, 772s and 653s) default to showing "Mesh Traffic" on the Performance screen. This is confusing because:

  1. Isn't Client Traffic most often more interesting / useful as a default
  2. Mesh is disabled as all APs are hardwired, so:
    1. At the very least, this fact should change the default?
    2. More concerning, why is mesh traffic showing at all if mesh is disabled?

Here you can see the default view, showing active mesh traffic:

The default Mesh Traffic View, showing mesh traffic

Here you can see the device saying:
Mesh
The Mesh function is disabled.
To enable this function, go to Site > Services > Mesh.

mesh is disabled

Here you can see Mesh disabled for the site:

mesh is definitely disabled

Hi  @daubstep

The Mesh traffic indicates the traffic that the EAP using to interact with the LAN, not the EAP mesh traffic.

The name is confusing, and we are aware of it. This will be modified in the next firmware update.

Thanks for your feedback.
