CPE710 is occasionally inaccessible
Dear All,
Got this issue with our P2P device.
Device Model:
CPE710 v2.0
Firmware Version:
1.0.2 Build 20230307 Rel. 59163 (0000)
Even when I can reach the CPE 710's (AP) via ping, I am unable to access administrative GUI either dhcp with failover IP or static configurations.
Disconnect the CPE710 Client Antenna on the other end as a result.
Configurations:
1. DHCP: with failover IP (use reserved LAN IP)
2. Static: LAN IP
The workaround is to reseat the CPE710 AP power cable, making it accessible again both AP and Client CPE's.

Hi @itadmin2024
This is the IP address for you to login the CPE's web interface:
For better management, it's suggested to configure it in the same subnet as your main router.
If you already done that and still can't access the interface, please refer to the following guide to do some troubleshooting:

Hi @Vincent-TP
Thanks for the reply.
The IP address is in the same subnet as the primary router. I tried both static and dhcp with failover IP (also same subnet) as mentioned in my previous post.
However, the issue arises when the CPE710 AP suddenly becomes inaccessible, and the other end CPE710 Client is disconnected.
I don't think it's firewall or browser issue. Unsure if this is a bug or what. So every time, I have to reseat the power cable and resume the normal operation.

As you mentioned, when the issue happened, the IP is still pingable, the CPE should be functioning.
This is mostly caused by firewall or anti-virus software. Our web interface is usually blocked by them
Sometimes, web browser may also cause this kind of issue. Please try with different kinds of web brwosers.

During the problem, I tried numerous browsers and turned off antivirus, but to no avail.

Hi, did you try with different PCs?
Or swap the operation mode of the two units, that is, configure the AP unit as client mode, and configure the client unit as AP mode.
If you have tried all of them, you may contact your retailer to check the warranty.
