Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 5.1.6

I have recently started doing Omada coud essentials, and on the last 2 installs i have done, the EAP disconnect and wont come back online unless they are rebooted. When they go offline, they are still powered up as the LED light is on, but the unit is unmanageable, ie not pingable or performing as an access point. Once its rebooted, it will connect up again for a few weeks then go offline again.

All the logs say is that it disconnected from the contrller, nothing more. These are really standard setups, with Tp-Link archer routers, TP-Link unmanaged POE switches, and then EAP`s. One site has 4 x EAP225 connected to the same POE switch, 2 are online and 2 are offline? Cloud controller version is 1.1.

Anyone ever seen this before?

Hi  @S_connor

One site has 4 x EAP225 connected to the same POE switch, 2 are online and 2 are offline.

>>>This indicates that the cloud server is still working normally. and the local internet is working. The reason is mostly caused by the two EAP units.

When the two EAPs are offline, is the internet affected?

Did you change the Ethernet cables of the two EAPs?

What's the model number of the POE switch?
