This Article Applies to:
All TP-Link EAPs
- For APs that support both 24V Passive PoE and standard PoE
Alternative Mode A is supported for standard PoE and Alternative Mode B is for 24V Passive PoE
- For APs that support both 48V passive PoE and standard PoE
Alternatives Mode A and Mode B are supported for standard PoE, and Alternative Mode B is for 48V passive PoE
- For APs that only support 24V passive PoE
Alternative Mode B is the power supply mode
- For APs that only support standard PoE
Both Alternative Mode A and Mode B are supported
