7510N Firmware Issues from original to latest.

Region : Philippines

Model : TL-WA7510N

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : TL-WA7510N_v1_111130

ISP : 5MB Globe

Mode = Bridge with AP Mode
Distance 1.1 (Estimated distance 1km)
Same Channel and Region
Security = MAC Filter

I have 2 WA7510N one for my house and one for my store with a distance of 1km. Installed as Bridge with AP mode with MAC filter security using first firmware TL-WA7510N_v1_111130 and it works great I got 4.3MB of internet bandwidth in speedtest.net and signal strength of 27 after 15/20 minutes the connection drop and lost. I read the firmware download page about the firmware and its bug so I decide to use the latest firmware TL-WA7510N_V1_130427. After installing the latest firmware the signal strength, drop into 15 and my internet bandwidth from 4.3MB became 0.3MB then after 15/20 minutes connection drop again. The old firmware is better than the two firmware upgrades TL-WA7510N_V1_121108 and TL-WA7510N_V1_130427 because the old/original firmware has a good signal strength and bandwidth, but the problem is this 15/20 minute connection lost. I try to solve this problem and I ended up in ping watch dog. I set every 7510N ping watch dog to restart after 1 fail because if I do 3 fails you have to wait long. This 15/20 minute connection lost bug is still not solved from TP-Link and very annoying. So let me recap the firmware issues.

Bridge with AP mode only.

TL-WA7510N_v1_111130 = Old or original firmware. Can deliver good signal strength and bandwidth, but have 15/20 minute connection lost. You have to restart every 7510N to reconnect again and again.

TL-WA7510N_V1_121108 = Second firmware upgrade. Signal strength became poor bandwidth from 4MB became 2MB and have a 15 /20 minute connection lost. You have to restart every 7510N to reconnect again and again.

TL-WA7510N_V1_130427 = The latest firmware. Signal strength became poor and bandwidth is getting lower also have a 15 /20 minute connection lost. You have to restart every 7510N to reconnect again and again.

I rather use the original firmware, but is there a way to get rid of the 15 /20 minute connection lost? Because that's the only problem.

Actually, I have 3 of these 7510N that's why I use Bridge with AP mode for my business. After installing the latest firmware the problem became worse, so I decide to bring down all three 7510N and check the device I have found out that one of the 7510N is not working normally. And now I only use 2 but still in Bridge with AP mode.

Thank you fotodamaris I'll try what you said and I'll leave update soon.

Setup
House 1st store w/ internet 2nd store
Bridge with AP mode >(data and internet sharing)>Bridge w/ AP mode>(data and internet sharing)>Bridge w/ AP mode(removed)
|
DSL/modem

Update:
I manage the two 7510N into AP -- Client mode and the connection between two is stable right now.

Here is my config.
AP:
Firmware version = TL-WA7510N_v1_111130 (No DFS)
Mode = AP
Region = PH
Channel = Auto
QSS - Disabled
Security = WPA/PSK > AES > Group Key = 0
Ping Watch dog = (Client IP) 3 count fail
Distance = (Manual) For 1km I enter 1.1

Client:
Firmware version = TL-WA7510N_v1_111130 (No DFS)
Mode = Client
Region = PH
Security = Same as AP
Ping watch dog = (AP IP) 3 count fail
Antenna alignment = RSSI 30 Percentage 87 - 100%
Distance = Same as AP

Now working great.. Thanks fotodamaris...
