Hi All,

Apologies if this has been asked before.

I'm trying to configure this switch via CLI but for some reason I can't enter Enable mode.

I can SSH to the switch, if I type in:

>enable

I get the error "no password set"

But If I type

>enable password admin

I get "Error too many paramaters"

If I try >no enable password

I get "incomplete command"

Could someone please direct me to the right command to either get into enable mode or set the enable password. This switch is relatively new, has basic configuration via Web UI so far.

Thanks for any help

Regards

Hi, KingThong

Try System Reset:
http://tplink-manuals.org/tplink-tl-sg3210-sg3216-sg3224-user-guide/30/

If this doesn't solve the problem - send the bugreport to TP-Link:

Same problem with SG-5421F (v1 latest fw)

Sorry. but we can't do factory reset 'cos we already are using the switch in prod environment.
Why on Earth couldn't you test it in your labs, dear TP-Link engineers? :-)
