i have just setup one of these switches and cannot get the multicast table to populate ip addresses and the setop boxes connected to the network are flooding.

i have an ip server outputting 24 streams with a total output bandwidth of 320Mbs and 9 setop boxes requesting the individual streams, i have set this system up before several times using cisco/linksys switches with L3 capabilities with only a few teething issues on setup.

i have been told by others this switch i am trying to setup will not do L3 yet the documentation states it does comply to this spec.

I have set up the following parameters:

created VLAN 2
multicast on
igmp on
but i cannot see anywhere to set the L3 parameters.

so i have now been told by tp link support that this switch does not support level 3 as advertised so therefore there is no way to configure true multicasting as this requires level 3.
I have no idea why there is a configure page for igmp & multicasting when it wont ever work.
