AP access in Client mode
Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WA7210N
Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version : latest
ISP :
Have my TL-WA7210N working fine in client mode with IP allocated by WISP or other WAP.
I am connecting the AP to the WAN port of my original router and the client(s) to a LAN port on the original router's 192.168.0.x sub-net. When operating in this mode I am then unable to access the AP configuration pages at 192.168.0.254 as this is now behind the original router's WAN port. Changing the AP IP address to 192.168.1.254 (ie a different sub-net from the original router WAN) still does not allow access. Also cannot access the AP on the allocated 'Gateway IP address'.
Need to access the AP without disconnecting from WAN port in order to reconfigure and change password and use survey to find best wireless signal. Any ideas?
Thanks
Mike
