Hi

I have a Netgear WNAP320 that supports POE and runs on 12v.

To save time / costs I have purchased a TL-POE150S to run power to the access point via Ethernet.

The documentation for the TL-POE150S indicated that the unit will draw/provide up to a maximum of 48vdc prior to purchase, however, since receiving the unit I am not so clear. I was led to understand that the unit will provide what power is required - so if the AP only required 12v that is all that will be supplied. But I am no longer sure that is the case.

Is it possible to connect a 12v Netgear AP to this TL-POE150S without causing any damage to the AP?

I don't want to connect the AP to 48v and fry it :-/

Any ideas?

Thanks :-)
