I was hoping someone might be able to help me with a question / questions.

I am in the planning stage so there are no equipment’s selected yet.

I want to connect two buildings up at work and don’t want to dig the road up and put in fibre or an external cat5 cable.

It’s an internal closed network so no access to the internet.

I just want to connect two switches together so the users at each end can communicate

I have added a diagram as a picture paints 1000 words.

Are there any products that do point to point ??

Many thanks

What is the distance between the two buildings?

The options can be a lot for your case. But my suggestion is to purchase two CPE510.

Switch A -------- CPE510_AP_mode )))))) (((((( CPE510_Client_mode -------Switch B

CPE510 is one of the new Pharos outdoor series. The Pharos series has a brand new web interface and some useful features. The Pharos series seems much better than the old outdoor products and is going to be a star product series of TP-LINK. As you can see the admin has even opened beta firmware test for them.
