Hello everyone, aftet a bit of web-searching and forum-searching, I am here to ask you some help. Basically I have two aDsl routers with static IP and I've got a 5120 balancer but, for some reason, it doesn't work as I'd expect. I am a newbie so don't hit too hard on me :P

ADSL A
Static IP: XX.XX.XX.XX
Internal IP: 192.168.1.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

ADSL B
Static IP: YY.YY.YY.YY
Internal IP: 192.168.2.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Balancer
Internal IP: 192.168.0.1

The Balancer is linked to a switch. The switch connects at least 12 clients.

If I set both WAN-1 and WAN-2 to "static IP", using 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.2.1 and the subnet of 255.255.255.0 I cannot connect to the internet. The only way is to switch the ADSL B from Static IP to PPPoE, but I need at least one IP to be static.

My questions:
1) I am doing something wrong, like wrong subnet mask?
2) I have to use DHCP only with router A and B or I have to switch it off and configure it only by the side of the load balancer.
3) Why PPPoE works? :O

Thank you so much

Ok, got it. I solved by myself. Please don't close this topic, let me see if everything goes ok and I'll post the correct way to use two statics IP.

After few days of fixing I've the solution. My noob error was to set the "static IP address" while the correct one was "dynamic IP address". It work perfectly.
