Hey Guys,
first off, sorry for my maybe not so good english , its not my native english
My switch is an TG-1016DE
Hardware V1
Firmware 1.0.1 Build 20131023 Rel.33236 ( Think its the newest? )
Region: Europe
Following Problem:
Im having a router which has 4 ports + WAN
Its configured to run port 1 and 2
As An port based VLAN for 192.168.1.x with DHCP
Having port 3-4
As an port based VLan for 192.168.2.x with DHCP
My Switch is Configured as DHCP Client and Mac binded over the router menue to 192.168.1.10
My Switch is also configured to having Port based VLAN
Port based VLAN 1 = 1-5,11-16
Port based VLAN 2 = 6-10
I connected Port 1 of the router with port 1 on the switch.
Everything connected from Port 1-5 and 11-16 works fine
DHCP Is running no issues
i connected port 3 to port 6 on the switch
as soon as i plug something into port 6-10 im getting ping timeouts to every other clients on the switch
it works fine when i plug in my laptop to port 4 on the switch
which means the virtual subnet - dhcp and stuff is working fine
Did i missconfigure something or is the switch not able to handle this duo to his own DHCP client ???
I have no idea
Thanks,
Klaus
