What's the warning message when you try to load the .bin file?

I've bought such a new unit and have the same confusion. But the saleman tell me that the new hardware version just optimize the parameter. No difference from the old one.

@alegara, I don't think it is caused by hardware version difference.

I think it is because your old configure file is export from a old firmware which is too old compared to the new firmware.

Similar issues happens on other products when importing configuration crossing two very different firmware versions. e.g 101101 --> 150102, these two firmware can have very different inner architectures..

Above is my guess, I don't have 1.1 to experiment.
Anyway, my friend, as I see the settings on CPE is very simple. I suggest to re-configre your new unit manually if you don't mind...

Hardware manufacturers always update the minor version for small modifications. e.g V1.0 --> V1.1
In fact iPhone 6 has a lot of internal versions but Apple does tell customers about that;)

When there are big hardware changes such as chipset/PCB design changes, they usually change the major version. eg. V1 changes to V2

TL-WR841N now comes to V11. My first router is TL-WR841N V6...

Hi, the message is in Spanish and tell: "The Hardware Version is not Supported"... the firmware version 1.3.0 is the same on both CPE210... only is different the HW version, the old is CPE210 v1.0 and the new is CPE210 v1.1...

I like to know if the new version of HARDWARE 1.1 has a modification, advantage, improvement, fixes, better capacity, etc... only to know if is recommended to change the "CPE210 v1.0" in AP mode doing the wireless distribution to around 40 clients each one, installed on the top of the tower, or nothing change and not is no sense.

I am now convinced by the screenshot that the warning is caused by different hw versions..

The reason can be software development plan. I mean:
Whether or not there are big difference between the current V1.0 and V1.1, there could be big difference between the future versions. So, to avoid future compatibility issues, when they develop the software they could have decided to set hardware version identification from the beginning.

This is also a common practice.

ya has sido contestado por @Tobacco, es muy clara su respuesta, mientras el primer digito de la Version sea el mismo, (en este caso el 1) son pequeños cambios de hardware,

Danymarc, your answer do not reply my question... i know about different hardware version for improvements and updates on the equipment... my question is very simple... i like to know What is new on the CPE v1.1 over the v1.0
