Hi all,

looking around my environment I've realized, that there are some inconsistencies in event log:

1. Gateway OpenVPN Module Information

in the event log the login/logoff information doesn't contain which user has logged in/out:

OpenVPN log

even the Controller has this information as displayed on VPN status page:

OpenVPN status

without user info in logs there is no possibility to backtrack any connection and assign it to any user in case of an incident - which is IMHO quite serious mistake...

2. Gateway DHCP Server Module Information

only MAC addresses are displayed:

DHCP

whereas other entries (like Client Roaming (Wireless)) translate the MAC addresses to Client name by default:

WiFi Roaming

is it possible to change the behavior?

@ZoloNN With regards to request 1, I can confirm that this is not yet implemented in the Omada Controller. As this is a great suggestion, I encourage you to make a post in our Requests and Suggestions Module, as popular posts in the module are more likely to receive priority from Engineering.

As for Request 2, let me check with my team here to see if we have a solution, as I was able to replicate the behavior on my end.
