serial number of some APs not showing up on OC200 portal (cloud access enabled)
I installed 7 EAP723(AU) 2.0 APs under a OC200 controller which is cloud access enabled. I am using the omada phone app to access it.
However, in the device info, only 4 of them have 'Serial Number' shown along with 'Model', 'MAC Address', 'IP Address', 'Controller Connection IP', 'Firmware Version' and 'Uptime'. The other 3 have the 'Serial Number' line missing.
An earlier thread said that the controller fetched the serial numbers not from the AP but via from the Cloud via MAC address (against a TP-Link database I suppose) after the device goes online on the controller. My OC200, however, is cloud access enabled. I tried to get the OC200 to forget those APs and re-adopt them via the Omada app but issue remains. Anything I can do to get the serial numbers shown? Or somehow they are missing in the TP-Link database? By the way, the 7 EAP732 were bought in one lot and their MAC addresses are all close to each other.
