2.Did you make any modifications to the switch before the problem arose, such as adjusting restart settings, upgrading firmware or other changes?
3.Could you please share details about the switch's status during a restart? For example, the behavior of the indicator lights, and how long the entire restart process takes.

1. I don't know when the issue started. It's happened before, but the switch generally doesn't get rebooted often so I just ignored it thinking it will go away.

2. It happened both before and after a recent firmware update. And after a factory reset on the switch

3. If I reboot the switch (via controller or disconnect power), it stays with the power light on forever. No other lights turn on ever. If I wait, say, 10-15min and plug in a serial cable, I can see that its in boot-util waiting for a command. If I hit the "start" option, then it boots up in a couple min.

This status typically occurs when the serial port receives input during the boot process, which interrupts the normal startup sequence.

We would recommend checking your serial port for potential issues such as oxidation or short-circuiting.

Furthermore, we also suggest connecting your PC to the RJ45 serial port, power cycling the SX3008F, and reviewing the complete boot log.
