CEP 510 Broadcast to N600 AP?
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I am setting up the CPE510 to be used for a 1 time event which is 2,000 feet from my home. My goal is to use my AT&T Gigabit Fiber Optic data connection 985Mbps to broadcast to 45 users.
My question is which Operation Mode would I set the TP-Link Pharos CPE510 on?
The layout of the network is:
Fiber Connection to ATT Uverse Router/Modem.
Then I want to plug the new CPE510 with Cat 6 Cable in to the CPE 510 and broadcast the signal pointed at the event area inside a park 2,000 feet away. On the receiving end I would like to know if I can plug up a TP-Link N600 Wireless Dual Bank Gigabit Ceiling Mount Access Point to receive the signal and then act as a Wireless Access Point to users in this event area. Is this possible and at which mode would I set the Pharos to? Repeater Range Extender or Bridge Mode?
Or, is the only way to attempt this is to setup a 2nd CPE510 in the park event area to receive the signal and then plug a Cat 6 cable into the TP-Link N600 access point?
Bottom line, should I use the Pharos as a Wireless Access Point from my house or can I Broadcast the signal to the N600 so it can share it?
Thank you
