Good evening:

I have a Switch SG3216. I configure two VLAN, (VLAN 2, and VLAN 3). I´m use router DD-WRT for test the system net. But I have many problems. At first I need two cables for connect the router to switch, because It`s not possible conect with a trunk with only one wire. If I connect with 2 cables, I create two VLANs, but I have other problem. I have a Ubiquiti Unifi equip (UAP-AC-LR), with support for VLANs, but not work, not resolve dchp for two different networks.

I need change the router, because I use the DD-WRT only for test. Now I need a TP-LINK router, but I don´t know who is the better router for create VLANs on the same port for create a trunk (From router to Switch).

And in additional, I need the Ubiquiti work properly with VLANs, and programming the switch for work with both VLANs at the correct form.

Thanks
Alex

See this post for how to create a trunk in DD-WRT and previous posts in the same thread for setting up a trunk on TP-Link managed switches:

Did not try VLANs with Ubnt's AirOS yet, but if it is conforming to the 802.1Q standard, it should work. If indeed it doesn't, file a bug report to Ubnt.
